Steve Green from the State Capitol Staff and David N. Schulz, Forest Superintendent Brule River State Forest are looking for help to harvest and truck the Wisconsin State Capitol Rutunda Tree.

The Tree will be harvested on the Brule River State Forest. The Tree Crew is hoping to harvest the tree on Nov 16th and put it on a low-boy truck and trailer to Madison.

The 2011 Capitol Rotunda Tree is a 36-foot Fraser fir donated by David N. Schulz, Forest Superintendent Brule River State Forest.

Public and private schools throughout Wisconsin have donated the handmade ornaments which decorate the tree. In the spirit of the Governor's energy initiative, the tree is decorated with 2,000 energy-saving multicolored LED lights.

Please call or e-mail the GLTPA at 715-282-5828 if you are able to help!
